Broad Run Maintenance Facilities

Scope: To construct a maintenance facility at the VRE Broad Run yard. This project is to design and construct a Service and Inspection (S&I) building and to extend storage tracks within the existing yard. The new S&I building will house a 100 ft long concrete inspection pit, overhead crane, shop, worker welfare facilities and office space.  Two of the existing storage tracks will be extended by approximately 250 feet each.  In the future as funding becomes available, a train carwash will be constructed.
