VRE Reduced Fares
VRE offers a 50% discount off of our tickets, with the exception of the VRE-TLC
Pass, for those who qualify. Reduced fare tickets may only be purchased from select
vendors.
Eligibility:
- Seniors must present photo ID showing that they are 65 or older.
- Youth must present VRE Reduced Fare ID.
- Persons with disabilities must present
a VRE Reduced Fare ID or a Medicare card.
Validation:
- Single-Ride, Two-Ride and Ten-Ride tickets must be validated before
boarding trains.
- Five-Day Passes must be validated at the time of first use.
- Monthly Ticket holders must validate their tickets by printing their
name on the back of the ticket.
