Overview

See the Sites of DC

Take Virginia Railway Express to see the sights of the DC. Whether you are staying in Fredericksburg , Manassas or somewhere in between, VRE can get you downtown to see the Nation's Capital.

Directions to some of the more popular sites are listed below:

Air and Space Museum

Take either the VRE Fredericksburg or Manassas line to L'Enfant. Exit the platform at the 6th Street side, at the bottom of the stairs turn left; the museum will be two blocks straight ahead.

National Aquarium

14th and Constitution

Take either the VRE (Fredericksburg or Manassas) line to L'Enfant Station; exit the platform at 7th Street and transfer to Metro; take the Blue or Orange line to Federal Triangle; walk down Constitution one street south towards the Commerce department and you will find the Aquarium on your right in the Commerce Department.

Capital Children's Museum

Take either the VRE (Fredericksburg or Manassas) line to Union Station. The Museum is adjacent to Union Station on 3rd Street

Capitol

Take either the VRE (Fredericksburg or Manassas) line to L'Enfant Station. From there take exit the platform at 7th Street and transfer to Metro; take the Blue or Orange line to Capitol South stop; the Capitol is on 1st Street.

FBI Building

9th and Pennsylvania, N.W.

Take either the VRE (Fredericksburg or Manassas) line to L'Enfant Station; exit the platform at 7th Street and transfer to Metro; take the Blue or Orange line to Federal Triangle; Exit at 12th Street; Walk north on block to Pennsylvania turn right the FBI building will be one block on your left.

Lincoln Memorial

Take either the VRE (Fredericksburg or Manassas) line to L'Enfant Station; exit the platform at 7th Street side,
