Amtrak 94 was disabled north of Union Station which blocked most of the lower level tracks into Union Station. Tracks 23 and 24 (the ones we use most often) were the only lower level tracks available for use for the evening commute while Amtrak worked to clear the incident.

As a result, there was significant train congestion at Union Station throughout the evening commute.
