Trip Planner
Two methods are available to launch the Transit Planner. The first link
leads to a Point and Click Map interface. The second link leads to a
compact set of choosers.
Point and Click Maps - Transit Planner
This user interface first displays the VRE map. The user is asked to either click directly
on the VRE map to choose a VRE Departure Station or to click a button
to jump to the Metro map. If the user does jump to the Metro Map they
are asked to choose a Metro station as their Departure Station. Once
a Departure Station is selected the user is asked to choose their
Destination Station by clicking on a station from either the VRE or
Metro maps. Next, a chooser pops up to ask for the day of departure.
Then a set of choosers pop up for the user to select a departure time.
Compact Choosers - Transit Planner
This user interface displays a set of choosers that allow the user to quickly select their
Departure, Destination, Day of Travel, and Time of Travel in one form.
