Manassas Park Station Parking Expansion
VRE is conducting a study to address the need to expand the existing parking at Manassas Park station. The current study includes analysis of alternatives, environmental documentation, and design of the proposed parking facility. The study will determine the location, size, and design of the proposed parking facility, and the type of grade-separated pedestrian access to the existing platform if needed. Approximately 560 more spaces are anticipated to be needed in addition to the 600 existing surface parking spaces serving the station. The VRE station and the proposed parking facility are an integral part of the City Center Redevelopment District, the proposed transit-accessible high-density mixed-use town center of Manassas Park.
