Manassas Park Station Parking Expansion
VRE conducted a study to address the need to expand the existing parking at Manassas Park station. The study included an analysis of alternatives, environmental documentation, and design of the proposed parking facility. The study determined the location and size of the proposed parking facility. A pedestrian bridge will be provided for grade-separated access to the existing platform and surface lot. Approximately 560 more spaces are anticipated to be needed in addition to the 600 existing surface parking spaces serving the station. The VRE station and the proposed parking facility are an integral part of the City Center Redevelopment District, the proposed transit-accessible high-density mixed-use town center of Manassas Park.
