Fireworks Trains Return for July 4, 2026
UPDATE (June 30, 2026): We are aware of a schedule change that will delay the start of the July 4th fireworks on the National Mall until 10:30 or 11:00 PM. At this time, VRE will depart Union Station 30 minutes after the conclusion of the fireworks, whenever that should occur. Please use the southbound departure times as a guide, with the understanding that the specific departure times will be adjusted accordingly.

Virginia Railway Express' Fireworks Trains are back on Saturday, July 4, 2026! Providing roundtrip transportation to and from Washington, D.C. on both our Fredericksburg and Manassas lines.
Please note VRE will run an S Schedule on Friday, July 3, 2026.

Ticket Information
Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite beginning June 1. ALL passengers must have a valid ticket to board.
Ticket Prices
- Adults: $20 Roundtrip
- Children (12 and under): $10 Roundtrip
Tickets will be available beginning June 1, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and will remain on sale until sold out. All tickets sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable.
