The project will provide VRE with a new passenger messaging system at VRE station locations, featuring two larger displays that will show train operations and additional information about VRE and its functions. The new system will provide added passenger information, including other transit agencies for transit connections, Amtrak train information at VRE and Amtrak joint-use station locations, and station-specific informational items, such as train schedules and fare tables, and other VRE-related passenger information.
